PTO

Welcome back to the Maplewood Middle School year.  For those of you who are new this year, we are so glad you have joined our Comet family.  Maplewood has maintained a reputation for providing excellent education in our community.  The hard work and dedication of our teachers and staff along with the involvement of dedicated parents have  contributed to  Maplewood’s successful academic record.

We have a very active PTO (Parent Teacher Organization) at Maplewood.  Our activities are designed to enhance the educational experience of our students and to provide support to our faculty and staff.  The contribution of your time and talents is what makes our PTO successful.  There is no better way to show your child the importance of education than by being actively involved in your school.

What can you do to help our school earn money?

Special thanks to Cheryl Hartley for designing the festive bulletin board in the front foyer of the school; all the parents who heped with the grandparent luncheons; the volunteers who stuffed bags for the CPSB TNT technology conference (see pic below); the volunteers who worked the PBS store for the first six weeks; and Amanda Songy for taking the pictures for the grandparent luncheons.
